New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New York is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The Atmosphere is really good for joining with friends and family for Korean BBQ. Spacious and welcoming place. The drink prices can be very high. The marinated pork is quite salty. Beef and beef intestines is quite good π.

Tried the assorted gopchang and samgyeopsal at Jongno 5th Floor β reminder that there are actually two different restaurants under the name Jongro. And wow β the samgyeopsal is insane! Thick, juicy, and so flavorful. Definitely dip it in the sauce that comes with it. Donβt forget to enjoy the Yukhwae with the sesame oil sauce itβs served with β a perfect match. The gopchang is also super tasty. The staff grill everything perfectly, but if you like it extra crispy, just ask them to turn up the heat and cook it a bit longer β it turns out chewy, crispy, and absolutely delicious. If youβre craving gopchang with all options for any meat of K-bbq, I definitely recommend coming here!

I was in New York for a week. So I have been eating different type of food but Korean bbq sounded very good to me. I was craving for it. So we found this place on Yelp. We uber there and ate for the first time I was beyond my expectations. It wasnβt all you can eat. We ordered out of la a carte the combo. It was satisfied my cravings. Lucky it was good too. Because it was our first time. So we wouldnβt know if it will be good or bad.

Jongro Gopchang is located on the 5th floor of the building that hosts Jongro BBQ, the famous K-BBQ restaurant. We arrived at 4:45 PM, they do not open until about 5 PM so we were allowed to sit there and wait until they opened. The atmosphere is nice, it feels like a mini market inside with a bar and multiple seating locations. Once 5 PM rolled around, they sat us right away. The service was quick and fast, and they kept refilling our water whenever needed. The food was very good. We got the marinated assorted gopchang, the raw beef sushi, dolsot bibimbap, and kimchi pancake. The kimchi pancake was very light and good, not too oily. The raw beef sushi was really good, but hard to hold with chopsticks so we decided to use our hands instead. The marinated assorted gopchang was very good, pieces were cooked very well and the marinade was sweet and a little spicy. However, I think next time we'd want to get the non-marinaded version so we could taste the flavor of the gopchang instead, as the sauce sorta overwhelmed the meat. The Banchan was really good as well, a steamed egg was prepped at the table and the sauce for the meats was pretty good. We were left pretty stuffed and had

Had Korean barbecue large beef platter. The beef couldve been a bit better quality, but don't get me wrong, it was still very good! Just some pieces not as tender as should be. You also get a small limited amount of vegetables (I happen to be one who eats a ton of veggies). The waiters cook for you right at your table which is a fun experience. It's also quite loud (so not a romantic dinner vibe if that's what you're looking for) but upbeat and busy.
